I read that some people take these pills after having surgery to reduce swelling. Does anyone know from personal experience if this is true or not?

Thanks. :)

Not personally, but I've heard that the arnica works really really well....it can't hurt to try it, esp. if you swell or bruise easily.

I've had great results with arnica. You need to take it one to two weeks before surgery and after as well for it to be really effective. Take the homopathic under the tongue arnica pills ( they are tiny) at least two to three times a day prior to surgery. It will reduce the amount of swelling and brusing by a lot. Remember to take it 1-2 weeks before. it does not interfer with other meds. or the surgery, so don't worry about that.

Thanks for your responses. I think I'll use it for my tummy tuck.
