HI! :)
I feel really silly asking this b/c I think I should know, but at what stage of CM are you most fertile? I always had what I thought was the "egg-white" CM exactly 14 days before my next AF, but after reading some of the posts, I'm not so sure. Hopefully not TMI, but the CM that I'm talking about is definitely plentiful and stretchy, but very thick and almost opaque. Is this what is meant by "egg white"-consistency? This month I've noticed other CM that was kind of thin (and I haven't gotten the opaque kind yet), so I'm thinking that THIS might be the type that preceeds ovulation. Help! I'm trying to figure out the best timing and this is driving me nuts! Thanks so much.

Mary,
Don't be silly asking! That's not a silly question at all! The most fertile is said to be the egg white consistency kind - lots of it and very stretchy. However, not every woman gets this kind. So lots of wet cm is also considered fertile. I think what you may be having, the thin stretchy cm, might just be fertile cm. So go for ti an dgood luck!!
