OKay I am new here, I jsut had my wisdom tooth extracted last tuesday and I am having alot of difficulties with it. was in the ER last night to get some more pain medicines and answers although I didnt get any answers. half of my chin is stillnumb and like 5 teeth towards the front right around where the chin is numb feel like they are being squezzed or sat on by a bus, alot of pressure there. I am still swollen in the jaw area, I got a fever of 100.6 last night I think I had it before but the vicodin I was taking has acetiminophen in it so I think it masked it until I ran out and it showed up. My wisdom tooth root was very curved look like a J not straight and the dentist told me it was a nightmare. Ive been reading alot about nerve damage and its kind of scary to tell ya the truth, and now a fever too kind of scary too, the ER dr didnt know anything about the numbing said to ask dentist monday, he gave me another antibiotic so im taking 2 oif them 4times aday!!!!!! he said as far as he could see back there, I can barely open my mouth still my jaw wont let me, that it looked okay inside, but the swelling should be going away its not, im think of bone infection since my jaw hurts so bad and fever, and the nerve damage, could anyone enlighten me on this? :confused:

Crystal I am very curious as to how u r doing-any change in your condition-as mine and your situation was similiar as I had wisdom teeth pulled when this happened to me as well but never had the fever, but you havent updated your, let us know, thanks.
