Hello

Bindge eating and depression seem to go hand in hand. I was just wondering have any of you taken an ssri to help control ur eating problems? did it work? from what i hear PROZAC is the best for this. How about u all?

are ssri's depression pills? i am a binge and purge eater which sux a**. neways, i take some freaky "f" words pill flouwientent? haha somethin like that. 2 me, pills can't cure our ED;s, they just numb it. and i see no difference in my moods. who knows..lol

I'm currently on Paxil cr (was on Wellbutrin before) and neither of them have done anything for my eating disorder. I don't think there is a pill for this. :nono:

I've already written alot about this on another thread... but Effexor helps with compulsion. Its used for OCD & Eating Disorders (along with other stuff), Thats the only one I know of that does anything at all to do with eating. Otherwise, its a matter of dealing with underlying issues (obviously the best & most important/effective way of dealing with an ed)
