i have just recently been diagnosed with leukemia.....i have to start chemo soon....i an just curious as to what it is going to be like and what to expect.....if anyone can gave me some idea i would appricate it---thanks

Hi Meg I hope you are feeling better. I don't have Leukemia myself but a very good friend of mine was diagnosed in Dec of last year with an acute form of Leukemia. since then she has gone thru 2 months of chemo one as soon as she was diagnosed and one just recently she went in for another treatment. I know she has had some complications but so far she is doing very well. I am sure you will do great when you get yours done also. I haven't been able to do much for her since she has moved back to her home for treatment but my thoughts and prayers are with her every day. Since she was diagnosed I have started volunteering and that has taken some of my frustration away.
