My daughter is a 30 year old survivor of childhood ALL. the endocrinologist wants to do a test called: "insulin induced hypoglycemia test" to determine growth hormone deficiency. we have been told there is a risk of seizure while having this test done. does anyone know anything about this test? Also, does anyone have any experience or knowledge with growth hormone medication called HUMATROPE ? such as risks, side effects, benefits? thanks for any help you can give us.

If there is a risk of further damage, I would suggest not having it done.
