MY 4 YEAR OLD NIECE HAS AML LEUKEMIA HAS GONE THRU 2 BONE MARROW TRANSPLANTS ALREADY AND HAS RELAPSED AGAIN AFTER 2 YEARS IT CAME BACK SUDDENLY AND RAPIDLY SHE IS NOW TRYING THE NEW EXPERIMENTAL DRUG MYLOTRAG ALSO KNOWN AS CM-676 ON THE 7 TH DAY AND SHE HAS STILL NOT SHOWED ANY SIDE EFFECTS THANK GOD SHE IS AT RILEYS HOSPITAL IN INDINAPOLIS AS A OUTPATIENT IF ANYONE HAS ANY INFO OR KNOWLEDGE OR KNOWN ANYONE WHO HAS TAKEN IT PLEASE CONTACT ME FOR ANY KIND OF SUPPORT WOULD BE APPRECIATED AT THIS TIME AND ESPECIALLY YOUR PRAYERS! Im so sorry for you. My 4 year old niece was diagnosed with aml and cml about 1 1/2 years ago and it is just a nightmare and very stressful as you will know. She had a bone marrow transplant a year ago and is doing well. Your post frightened me, I cant bear the thought of it returning, how long after your nieces first transplant did it return? I hope your niece gets better, its great that there are new drugs which means more hope.

I never thought anyone would ever reply to my post it is so nice to have someone finally reply to me whether it be about mylotarg or not. Brianas first bone marrow lasted almost a year but the 2nd marrow she was in remission for almost 2yrs so you just never know if the monster is gone or not. She has been on the mylotarg now for almost 5 mo. this is a miracle in itself it is really intended for older adults but she has handled adult chemo drugs before and she is a typical lil red head fiesty as heck. I hope your niece will be ok all our family does is pray and hope for the best. She went to rileys hospital a cancer hospital in Indinapolis she had to go again today due to leg cramps they have no idea why she is having pain but do they ever know the half of it. I just pray that they will do more research for our children all over the world that our suffering with this awful disease. Best Wishes to you and may God bless your family
