i stopped the pill about 4weeks ago but have not had my period for around 6 weeks. i know this is normal but what about light brownish spotting which occured 1 week after stopping the pill and now for the last week i have ever so light cramping. i thought AF was due but im over a week late. why would i have light cramping if it was not ready to show up. its not like my normal AF cramping. it's so light but there.me and my husband want to start trying but with these messed up periods well no periods what are the chances?

You are more likely to get pregnant once your periods become regular again. It is different for every women but usually it takes a couple cycles for you to get back into your normal cycle. The light spotting and cramping...seems to be pretty normal from just coming off the pill. Take care.
