My grandfather's sister died from it at age 7 My question is I keep getting swollen glands but I'm not sick could this be a symptom?

I am not a doctor but it never hurts to get a check up cause I have heard of people having swollen glands that had other types of cancer so just please have a check up to be on the safe side ok!
