hi
anyone may know this.do i need af to start before i start taking temp?noy suremyself and if so need advice as depo may not have worn of enough yet to get af?last depo last aug,had 1st af in jan8th05,nothing since.hpts bfn.so when can i temp?anyone please help........................ahhhhhhhhhhh hh.

i think it may take about a year for your periods to become regular after depo so it may take several more months. as for the BBT chart, you start charting on the first day of your cycle (when af comes). if you're not having regular periods you're probably not ovulating, so i don't see the point of charting. but then again i'm not a fan of charting because it never worked for me. if af does not come in a couple of weeks, i would call the gyne and see if they can start you on provera to induce af,good luck.

I have been charting since october and i, as you know still havent had af, its better to start on the first day of bleeding - so ive heard but for us girls it may take a long time for af to start again, i suggest you start now anyway (the only reason i got my appt with the specialist is because i was charting and the doctor could not see a thermal shift)
I recommend it, even if depo hasnt come right out of our systems it good practice.
Have you got TCOYF, that will really help also i got the temp chart in a walet with a basal body thermometer from Boots, it was £14 but well woth the money, it sits by my bedside untill 6am when on goes the thermometer, it really was worth the £'s

thx so much 4 your help i will start charting anyway i think may give some idea of what may or maynot b happening.and i may need to show a doc in a few months from now if nothing happens ey.its good you did yours im sure it will really help when you have your appt.i wish you all the very best with it on tue.i am going to buy tkoyf if i can find it later today.af is due next fri my patience is getting slim and i feel really upset that it may take me a year to get preg.im 36 next mth and would like to be preg this year if poss?my cervix is high and closed this wk it was low last wk what should this tell me?will get that book i need the anwers b4 i go crazy.sorry to let off.i should be gratful ive had one af ,i am gratful but still frustrated.sorry.sorry.am going to do temps next fri.
