Hi my daughter age 8 has been diagnosed with ALL since Oct. 2002 getting her to eat anything has always been a struggle but now it is worse. She spent 3 weeks in the hospital in January because she was down to 41 lbs. Also she was having severe stomach pains. They put her on intervenous feeding (TPN). After her return to home she remained on TPN for several weeks. As her weight returned upto 51 lbs. so did her appetite. So they took her off the TPN. Now her appetite is declining and the stomach pains are starting to return (weight 49lbs). Any suggestions on how to get her to eat? Also is there a correlation between the TPN and her appetite? Thanks.
