:wave: Hi, im new here. I need a rootcanal and the dentist says that it will cost $900. My insurance wont pay for the root canal but may pay for a cap. I was wondering if anyone knows any doctor in New York state that does it for cheaper, if needed i would go to a dentist school. I just need it fast and dont have the money to get it privetly done. I just had a root canal and post and crown done for less than $800. A root canal alone is $200 to $400 depending on which tooth. Write me privately for the name of my dentist.

I beleive NYU has a dental school. I don't know if this is close to you. The advantage of going to a school is that most procedures cost from 1/3 to 1/4 of what you'd pay at a private practice. If you call them they can tell you how to get admitted to the clinic and they should give you a fee scale for the procures you need.
