lately something has been wrong with my blood, I'm bruising horribly, my thighs hurt like I pulled a muscle but I didn't do anything all day long, my wrist hurts like I sprained it, my head hurts, I have lost my appetite and I'm sleeping a lot more now. I have no energy, I bruise by simplying touching my skin. And the doctors are giving me the run around...does it sound like I have a possibility of having leukemia?

Not to alarm you, but yes it is possible that you may have leukemia but not necessarily. First of all have the Drs. done a complete blood count, and if they did what were the results, (especially the white cell count). Next if you have a higher than normal count for your white cells then to confirm leukemia you must have a bone marrow biopsy and staining of your cells. Also I have another question for you. Have you recently been getting unknown infections? Have you had in the past cuts that seemed forever to heal? These also can be signs and syptoms. Most importantly go to a Dr. that you can trust and you feel you can get some straight answers. That's the best I can offer you, I wasn't properly diagnosed until it was almost too late.

My last two general blood test were from Dec. 6, and dec. 20.
on dec 20 my wbc was 4.0 which is just in range as normal is 4.0-11.0 on Dec. 6 my wbc was 8.0
dec 20 rbc-4.16 (low, normal is 4.20-5.40)
dec 6 rbc 4.59
theres a bunch of other abb. here... and my platelet count jumped all over.... heh.....
