i have a lump at the side of my neck just a peasize lump doc says that it is a lipoma.... she has did some blood tests to check can they find leukemia with blood tests im really worried as i suffer from depression and think that im dieing all the time i hate the way i feel and i need help badly.... the doctors put it down to my husband dieing suddenly of a heart attack when i was pregnant but this is getting worse i imagine everything is wrong with me ant that i am going to die

please can someone please tell me if you can feel ur lymph nodes if you press hard enough on ur neck

Hi, this sounds familiar. I had a tumor on my back the "dr.s" called a lipoma. My doc said he didn't know how they got there they just cut them out. Well I know a little more now and i can say they grow because of lymphatic congestion, metabolic wastes and toxins from pathogens accumalate in certain areas such as muslces and joints and tumors can eventually develope. Get a second and third opinion before considering an operation. Preferably from someone who knows about leukemia and not someone who just cuts tumors out "because they are there". I very much regret my operation, the pain is very disconcerting, you can try alternative therapy, the surgery "option", is just a bandaid approach that doesn't really take care of anything, just makes matters worse and brings an additional pain component into play that wouldn't have been had a more natural approach been taken. Lipoma? Isn't that a fatty tumor? That's supposed to be harmless. Leukemia is a blood disorder, not tumor-related. Most of the time, I hear from doctors, lumps are cysts. I had a roommate who had that fatty tumor...no biggie; don't worry.

Hon a lipoma is just a fatty tumor, not a cancerous tumor. If it was cancerous they would have told you it was a carcinoma. No need to worry, I am thinner so I can always feel my lymphnodes infection or not, it could be your lymphnodes or just a fatty tumor that they can take out.
