one of my close friends found out she had ALL about a month ago, she is 21 and started chemo. a week or so after she found out she had it. It's still a very tough subject to talk to her about and I was just wondering if anyone knows how long people usually have to stay doing chemo. will she have to do that for just a few months, or years or what? I haven't really found any websites that talk about that, so if anyone has any info, that would be great.

People I've known that have had chemo had it for a few weeks. Sometimes it gets repeated if the cancer comes back. This seems to vary a bit and someone else may be able to tell U more about chemo for ALL. BobE
