I'm really upset and deeply distraught at the moment, things between me and this girl were going amazing up until she found this out, since she's only known me for such a short period of time she wishes me not to call, contact, or visit her,(pretty much just to forget her) I understand how she would want this and i respect it, but It doesnt change a thing for me and i want to be there for her, It's been a day since she's known and i believe she went for treatment today. I have no way of contacting her or anything but i can find out what hospital she's at, should i stop by and drop off a card and flowers to the receptionist and let them deliver them to her. I want to be there to support this girl, not through pitty, but from me caring for her. We really liked each other and this just upset everything, any advice? thanks.

I think leaving flowers for her couldn't hurt and really might help lift her spirits, especially with a kind note attached. Since you care for her, how she is doing, it would be good for both of you for you to be with her through this as much as possible. Emotional support is important. A note with words of encouragement describing her good qualities that could help her overcome this illness would be great.

Hi,

It's been 10 months since you wrote this but I just read it now. Did you ever get in touch with that girl you dated 2 weeks? How is she doing? What kind of leukemia does she have? They don't allow live flowers in leukemia units as I found out this costly error recently.
