I have been having problems for 18 months with excessive burping. Please refer to my thread from 2/15/05 "Not so sure it is my Gallbladder.. help, experience???" and now I want a second opinion and don't know if I should go to another internist or a gastroenterologist.. any suggestions...??

I think you should go to a Gastro Doctor--- things like medical disorders have just gotten very specialized!! I think you will get too general anwsers with an Internist!
