I have taken two brands of birth control pills in the last two years (Desogen) and currently Yasmin. Both significantly lowered my sex drive. Although I am planning on meeting with my Dr. I am wondering if anyone else has suffered this side effect, and if so, what alternative method worked for you?
I read that the birth control patch can have less effects but am unsure if that is case.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

I've suffered that problem as well, and found no method that didn't lower my libido. There might be a pill that works for you, but it's trial and error.

Well, people with low progesterone levels tend to have low sex drives, so perhaps if you asked for a more progesterone-based pill, it could help.
