Hi Jovana:

It's me suzznyc, had to change log in id and password. I am only 11 days post op so I have a lot of questions for your friend. It's far to premature to provide adequate feedback (so I'm told). How I feel today and how I'll feel about my nose two weeks from now could strongly change. What I can tell you is that I am not too happy now at this moment. He did remove the small bump I had but now I seem to have a small part of bone that protrudes along my right side of bridge. The left side is straight (that bothers me some). Also, the columnella (strip that hangs bet. the two nostrils) was supposed to be brought up some, which I think it is, but due to the swelling in the tip it may be pushing it down some. Thus, I need to be patient to see if in fact this is the case. The tip is bulbous now and it's frustrating because if there is to be definition (thinned out and resculpted for a more defined front view), I cannot tell. My nose really looks the same head on. The profile has definitely changed however. I will continue to chk. in with you as the weeks go by to let you know. Everyone tells me I have to be patient. I am so curious to know how much time went by before you saw your friend post surgery? And, if she experienced the same frustrations with not seeing any real visible initial results? Any feedback you can provide would be greatly appreciated. I still have some bruising and the left side is extremely numb to touch and has inner swelling.
That's about all I can tell you for now. Stay tuned...

Don't worry. My friend actually told me it took 6 months before she really saw the change fully. She said her nose was piggish at first and very sensitive to sun. I'm sure you'll look great it just takes some time. Most doctors will correct any minor changes if you feel strongly about it after you heal-he is one of the best so I wouldn't stress just get plenty of water and vitamins so you can heal! Stay in touch.

your right, tomorrow will be two weeks and it has already improved a lot. I still have significant swelling in the left nostril (hurts to touch) but my initial worries are appearing to lessen. I will chk. back with you in a month and give you another update.
