I have tried Lexapro twice. Backfired the first time. Couldn't take being tired all the time the second time. I know Xanax helps, but how much? I also want to make that my last resort. I don't want to become addicted.

how does CBT work for treating GAD?

Does ECT work for treating GAD?

its ruining my life.

cbt changes the way you think of things instead of thinking of the negative things it trys to change to think of the possitive its just a vicious circle negative thoughts trigger feelings then this triggers your behaviour then the physiology you learn relaxation in cbt to help with anxiety if you can get in control of you thoughts you get in control of you feelings and behaviour does take time though
