i was not allowed to receive the depo shot this month as i have been on it for 7yrs and they are saying you are only allowed to be on it for 2yrs. i am old enough to decide that i definately do not want any more children as my youngest is now 8. i was told about the essure procedure and was wondering if anyone else had had this done and how they were doing with it....i guess it is almost like having your tubes tied but no surgery involved and recovery time is much quicker of course....thank you for any responses

I looked it up as I have never heard of it before. Thats a serious form of birth control. The first thing that came to my mind after watching the video for the implant of it was Endometriosis. Seems like it would cause probelms down the road. I know that they had to test it out before they could launch it to the public but it looks scary to me.

If you want 100% birth control that video looked like the way to go.
