Ever since I found this board I have just been so full of questions I can't remeber to post them all at once. Anyway, my newest one is whether all the diagonstic tests they preform when you go to the neuro-otologist will give a conclusive diagnosis, especially in the case of VN. I am pretty sure what I have been experiencing over the past few months is inner ear related and more specifically a vestibular problem (the posts I haver read on this board line up with most of my symptoms to a tee,) but dizzy is not really the word I would use to describe my what's going on and I am worried that when I see the neuro-otologist, he/she will brush me off because I don't have the tell tale dizziness or vertigo. Will the ENG and other such tests be able to show conclusivly whether or not there is nerve damage and what the diagnosis may be, even if my doctor can't come up with a clinical one? I've just been brushed off by so many doctors that I really would like a diagnostic test they can't ignore that says "look, there is something wrong here!"

Thanks
A
