Hey Fellow Foggy Heads,

(and especially for CL)

If you recall a post of mine a few depressed weeks ago, I was very upset with my symptoms (as I tend to wax and wane on them). Made the decision to send out lettered updates of my symptoms, and see if there was any new feedback.

In particular, I mailed a letter to Professor LL in London, and she e-mailled me back. I was not expecting this, so it was a pleasant surprise.

Although she stated that she wouldn't be able to diagnose me without the benefit of an examination, she did provide me with names of colleagues in the States that I can contact. My plan is to see if THOSE colleagues know of anyone else closer that I would have the option of being seen by.

Along with that, LL stated that she would be happy to see me herself, and all it would take would be a written letter from my primary physician.

Of course, my symptoms have been more tolerable lately (a GOOD thing), but it's nice to know that I have some other options, even if it does mean some travel.

Wishing everyone a peaceful day. xo

Fantastic! LL is good like that - I emailed her and got a mail back the same day. I'm so glad you're a step closer to finding someone who might be able to help. Keeping my fingers firmly crossed for you - you're my hero and my benchmark, because we've been in this state about the same length of time! :)

Keep us posted on what the local docs say!!

Are you allowed to mention her colleagues in the U.S. or is that a No No?
Just curious. This LL sound like not only an incredible Dr. but human on top of that!!!!

all the best,
