My dad was diagnosised with non-small cell lung cancer in the IV stage in 11-99. He had his spinal column fused 3-00. He had to learn to walk all over again. My problem is I want to know signs when it's starting to get close to the end. He is on oxygen full-time now. The doctor told us he probably would not be around for another holiday. My sister lives out of state I will be the one to make sure she is her in time to see my dad before it is to late. I was hoping anyone out there could give me some signs to watch for. He currently is getting shots every other day for his blood count and still taking chemo every other week as long as he can tolerate it. Appreciate any help.

that can be really hard to say. even a doctor cant tell you that. when my father in law was dying he was in and out of the icu all the time. i can't tell you how many times they thought it was his last day. then he live 3 more months.
