Hi firiends! Just changed from zoloft to effexor xr. Trying to remain positive! Give me some experiences please! Also, do I take morning or night? Forgot to ask the dr.

I take it at night because i cant remember in the morning :) and my doc said its fine, i found this one ok to go on too, best of luck

I found it helped alot, but it causes anorexia and I DO NOT need to lose weight, but that was the best one I've been on and I've tried ALOT! can't remember if I took it in the morning or night call the pharmacist and ask if it makes a difference. Hope this helps.

I take 150 mg before bed. My dr told me to do this to avoid the nasty side effects (I'm sleeping if/when they occur). I know if I would of taken it in the morning I'd feel sick to my stomach.

The only time I felt sick was when I forgot to take it one night and the next day I was feeling it!!

I love effexor and it has helped me greatly!! :wave:

Thanks guys! I just started yesterday, a sample pack of 37.5 for a week, then 75 for a week. My script is for 150, also. I may be crazy, but I took the first one yesterday morning, and I actually felt calm during the day, so we'll see. I am also cutting out the caffine, so that could be it also. I guess I need to skip this morning dose and take the 2nd one tonight to get on the night schedule.
