Hello,
I am new to this list.
My father has recently been diagnosed with mesatheiloma (not sure of the spelling). They say it is from asbestos. He worked for Irving Oil for 32 years and retired about 2 years ago. Apparently the asbestos was in everthing from the countertops to whatever at the office. My Dad delivered oil.
I don't know what stage he is in. They could not take his lung. His is not taking chemo at the present time. Has anyone heard of this type of cancer? I would appreciate any information.
Thank you,

I'm not an expert on this type, but know its usually incurable. That wouldnt be the case if theyd give antiangios, targeted therapies, and immunotherapies. I believe copper chelators should be used in all cancers as they prevent its spread. God Bless

Thank you for your reply. I am sad to say that my Dad passed away on March 30. We found out that his Doctor knew he had this 5 years ago and made the decision not to tell my Dad because there is no cure or treatment.
God Bless you too,
