What are your thoughts about self-tanners (sunless tanning lotions)?
I know they are safer than being under the sun... but, they are still chemicals that you are putting on your body...
I am just curious about what your thoughts are and what you have heard about them.
Thanks

Self tanners have been around for quite awhile. I think I remember my sister using something back in the 70's. Anyway, many years ago I started using one before attending a wedding. A friend of mine asked if I felt ok because I looked jaundiced. LOL! They're much better than they used to be. To this day, I have never read any information on long term affects of putting it on your skin. But that's not to say that 15yrs from now we won't hear some study that says using self tanners puts us at a greater risk of developing some disease. But, the alternative is not much better. If you want color on your skin you either have the sun or a self tanner. For now, I'd have to say the self tanner would be the better way to go if you want a tan. I've used Origins and it's pretty good. Especially their face tanner. I've also heard good things about Clarins and Lancome.
Good luck.

THere isnt anything wrong with self tanners all you are doing is applying it to the firsts layers of the skin that is why self tanners come off within days your skin exfoliates itself its very safe
