Dear Diane, thank you for your words of comfort...and sorry to hear that your husband has cancer with SVCO...Mum has sadly passed over....as you know...A few years before mums diagnosis...my husband was diagnosed with Non hodgkins lymphoma...So I too know of the different battles in that area....He has been in remission for 3 years, so it was a total shock to find that once he was looking good, mum became ill..My mum was my strength when Terry was ill...I would cry and cry....She would say hes going to be alright...She would also have my daughter when Terry was having chemo, so I could be up all night when he was sick with the chemo...she was just so brilliant...Then for her to be ill....its just so hard to take....I know the different level of love you describe.....Before Terry had cancer I had never been through this...
When mum passed away in the hospice, all the other patients in the ward came over and hugged me and gave me there love, these are amazing special unselfish people....they are there for the same reason as mum was but they give me comfort...You cannot describe the love and thanx for the comfort they gave me, please savour each moment with your husband...do the things you can possibly do and tell him how much you love him all the time.....
Please I know how you feel and you can email or message me, please take all my love and best wishes, be strong! Janie B xoxoxoxoxox
