Is anyone here on Paxil CR for GAD? From what I've read on line it is for panic disorder, depression and social anxiety. I got this prescription today, but I'm not sure if it's okay for GAD. (I don't have depression, panic or social) If you know anything please tell me. I could use some re assurance. Thank you.

Hi Lime. I am currently taking Paxil CR for GAD and depression. I took regular paxil years ago for the same thing and it did wonders for me. I hope the CR works the same. I had no side effects and I don't right now with the CR, either. I've only just started my second week on it. I think you should try it. It's supposed to have a calming effect, which is why it's for anxiety and depression.
