:eek:DOES ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT A BIRTH CONTROL PILL CALLED CAMILLA, APPARENTLY IT IS ALSO USED FOR HORMONE REPLACEMENT THERAPY. BUT I WANT TO KNOW IF IT CAN STILL BE USED EVEN THOUGH IT IS USED FOR HRT ....IF SO, DOES IT MAKE IT ANY LESS SAFE THAN A BITRH CONTROL PLL NOT USED TO CONTROL MENOPAUSE.

It is a progestin only pill, my doc prescribed it for me. I decided not to take it, but it is bc. Not as effective as a combo pill, and it has to be taken at the exact same time every day for its effectiveness. Also, if you miss a pill, or go 3 hrs past your pill time, you have to use backup for the entire cycle. :eek:
Also, read your side effects. Breakthrough bleeding is much more common with this pill, as well as facial hair growth and weight gain.

oh wow thanks, that really helped. I was just really freaked out by the fact that not much people even knew about it and i had a hard time finding much info on it. I haven't started taking it but what i would like to know is why you decided not to take it :confused: :bouncing: :blob_fire
