i gets this pain in my lower left side, sometimes it last all day and sometimes comes and goes, i i can"t figure it out rob

This is a common symptom of diverticulosis/diverticulitis (though there are other possibilities). The usually recommendation is to increase fiber intake (GRADUALLY!); increase water intake also; yogurt can help, too.
