Never heard this and don't think it is the best idea. There are plenty of other products to help your hair.

Not true. Try hair vitamins first.

I haven't heard of actual brands doing this, but I was reading a health/beauty column in a fashion magazine (Cosmo or Galmour or something) and someone wrote in asking if you rubbed BCP into your scalp if it would make your hair grow faster. The columnist said if you could actually get your scalp to absrob the pills, the hormones would make your hair grow faster, but it's pretty much impossible to get the pills into your scalp. Maybe shampoo companies are working the hormone angle to appeal to people who want their hair to grow!!

Sounds shady to me. I keep hearing how the things you ingest have an effect on your outer body. I mean I take the BCP and my hair isn't growing any faster, but I guess if ingesting caffeine makes cellutite worse and rubbing it on your body makes it go away anything is possible!

I did an internet search on it and came up with nothing other thatn the fact that taking different brands of BC can cause changes in hair growth.

you can try taking vit. E... don't take too much though cause it will build up in your body and cause some kind of damage. i was taking the lowest dose vit. E i could find, every other day for a month and it worked pretty well. when it doesn't work anymore, stop taking it for a while, then take it again. or you could try a multi-vitamin.

or you could wear hats. ;-)
