I have posted before about my diabetic eye disease. Does anyone else out there have any problems with their vision related to their diabetes? My retina specialist is very busy and doesn't take the time to explain things in detail and at times I'm completely terrified at my loss of vision. I have had laser surgery on both eyes and a new prescription for lenses has helped a little since I have gotten my glucose levels under control, but my vision has been reduced so much that it's downright scary. I would like to hear from others who have experienced vision loss.

Cher, I recently found out I have diabetes and have found several
Diabetes Education sites. I do not think we are allowed to post them,
but you can do a search several ways. Diabetes, diabetic eye problems or
some such thing. There are several boards that can help you also.
