Dear friend,

I do not know how many people on this board already know this information, but I will post this for consideration. Certain websites suggest OCD symptoms may be linked to mercury toxicity. A ****** search of OCD and mercury will bring over 80,000 hits. Hope this helps.

this is definately good information. other mental disorders (or symptoms of them) have been linked with mercury as well. eating fish is most commonly how people get mercury poisoning, but if you eat fish i wouldn't recommend stopping, just getting regularly checked and trying to cut back on your intake of larger fish such as tuna (smaller fish and shellfish have a much lower amount of mercury in them). the b vitamins and omega 3 fatty acids in fish are exceptionally helpful in ocd among other disorders.
