I've used magnets since the 80's. They're my #1 pain reliever. I have braces for my back, wrists, knees & ankles. I use the little 'spot' ones for trigger points e.g. sciatica or wing pain, other injuries

I can't use the mattress, as it 'overstimulates' me.

Thanks for the input. Was wondering where you get your mag's? Have you found one source that's particularly better than the others? Is the mag strength as important as the manufacturers claim or are they all just as good? Should we check the "Gauss" with a meter? Do the mags lose their strength over time? Any good sources of info you'd recommend?

Thanks, Mikeb.

Well I've found two companies that I order from. The first is in Canada called Magnapak. I like their "spot" magnets (1000 gauss). They stick well, and I get good results.

When I need "replacement stickers", I order from American health Services in Illinois. I also have ordered all my braces from them........ankles; back; wrists; knees.

I don't notice a decrease in the gauss, and I keep reusing them. I can't sleep without my ankle ones, and use my wrist ones on the computer. My back goes out alot, so I use that brace alot.
