View Full Version : Very disturbing sexual thought

When I wake up all groggy in the morning and I'm still lying in bed half awake I usually have a million random things floating around uncontrollably in my head and sometimes those thoughts are usually very odd things that are sometimes anxiety controlled and today I had this disturbing image I had literally seen before(By accident) reaccur in my head and I haven't been able to get rid of it and I'm scared this is going to be a new obsession of the week.

I've used the "capsule" technique on other things over the past few weeks and I'm actually pleased with the results, but just trying to dwell on this for five seconds makes me very upset with anxiety. To repeat the thought for 45 minutes to desensitize me would be torture beyond belief.

I really don't want to say what it is(No, it's not a gay thing) but I'm sure anybody else would be disturbed by it too.

I know what you mean when you say that dwelling on your bad thought for 45 minutes would be unbearable. It might work for some people but I don't think that most of us could handle that kind of stress.
Funny thing, I get a lot of my OCD ideas when I first wake up and it really sets a horrible tone for the day or the week. What a hell of a torture chamber our minds are.
