I was put on birth control in the begging of September because I wasn't getting my period. I wasn't getting my period from anorexia a few years back but now I am at a normal weight for getting a period. I was taking Yasmin which I found to be pretty good, with low side effects. The problem was after the second month it started to get hard to remeber to take the pills every morning on a regular schedule. SO i stopped taking them, I still goy my period for the next 2 months without taking the pills. But now my period is three weeks late. I was wondering if the birth control stays in your system for awhile even when you stop taking it. Like I said before I am at a normal weight for getting my period but I workout alot so I don't know if that is causing me to miss my period, or my body is messed up from taking the pills and then stopping. I am also 18 so maybe it just isn't that regular but Iamnot sure. I don't know if anyone has experienced this

It can take about 3 months for your cycles to regulate. But since you had 2 normal periods, it probably isn't the pill causing this. Just a guess.
