I am 8 weeks pregnant and just went to day to get more bloodwork done. I found out I tested pos. fot hepc in November but had no detectable virus on my blood. HOPING it will be the same when I get these results back. My question is should I still get vaccinated for a and b if I have no viral load? Can I get them done while pregnant? I also have another question, how common is it for the virus to show up after not being detectable in the blood? I have no idea what genotype I have or anything like that. Also I have read that the risk of mother to child transmission is extremely low, just need some reassurance. Thanks.

A low viral load is associated with less risk of transmission. Cross that bridge when you come to it.
As to getting vaccinated, talk to your medical provider.
congratulations of the pregnancy!
