JUst over a month ago, I had pneumonia. I have Addisons Disease anyway. After a couple of weeks they sent me home and I had a panic attack that I was going to die. Then I had a blood trst which showed that my immune system was still battling something (all cool) positive pneumonia has gone now. I took Doxsig, and since then I have felt off balance. I feel funny sensations in my brain and It hurts to shake me head. The doctor thinks I am suffereing from Post Traumatic Stress and prescribed something that messes with the chemicals in my brain. (Scary stuff) Zyprexa. I think It could be caused by soemthign to do with an inner ear infection, or the result of a drug, but the doctor won't seem to listen to me. I never had these symptoms or panic attacks before I got pneumonia. I have had:
Sinuses being blocked up like I can hardly breathe (but my sinuses are dry)
Lump in the left side of my throat.
Tingling in the left side of my head
Extreme dizziness like I can’t take breath (worse after taking Zyprexa)
Tightening of the throat
Numbness or the feeling of cold in my feet (even though they are completely normal to touch)
Brain fog
Feeling like something is crawling within my brain.
Fear that I will never be normal again.
Can’t cry properly.
Feeling like my equilibrium has been chucked off.
Muscular contractions
Emotional, sometimes I cry for no reason.
Dry eyes and vision problems.
Craving for sweet foods.
Popping in my ears.
Sweating in my feet and hands
Disinterest in my surroundings.
Has anyone else had all of these. Could I have upset the balance of my inner ear or brain. I don't think I have a brain tumor, or anything, but thinking about it induces a panic attack. Who would people on this board go to see? Does this sound like an inner ear disorder or something to do with my brain? Or can soemone just send me an e-hug cause I'm having a really tough time.
