babygirl4276032 03-02-2005, 12:32 PM I have horrible headaches and my ears ring constantly. I know my hearing is not that good because I had hearing test done before but it was years ago. Could this be somehting else? Sponsor korpacz1 03-02-2005, 01:09 PM I also have headaches and my ears ring constantly. See my post below -- Newbie Help me Please. I have been to four doctors with no help at all. I have an appointment with an ENT. Who knows. Feel like I am crazy. Sharalee 03-02-2005, 01:34 PM Do you get other noises in your ears? And do certain noises bother you, or seem louder to you than other people? I only ask because I've had Tinnitus for years. I also have horrible headaches. I too feel my hearing is fine (excluding the times it goes in and out of each ear). I hear things my husband and daughter do not. Almost like having "dog ears". Let us know how you are getting on. SL korpacz1 03-02-2005, 02:41 PM In my case yes. There is a woman in my office and when she gets "hyper" she starts to screech and it is unbearable. Loud music in the car is no good. I saw a neuro and my MRI was fine. But why these headaches. The louder the tinnitus the more of a headache or the more of a headache the louder the tinnitus. It is awful. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy. Very depressing. Somedays are better than others. Yesterday was good. Today my sound is piercing through me. My head is hurting a little also. Then tomorrow I could be fine. Baffling. babygirl4276032 03-02-2005, 04:16 PM I dont hear things that good. I hear ringing but once in a while I will hear things and ask my mom or someone if they ehard it and they say no. I feel like I am losing it. But my ears ring so bad and loud it gets really annoying how long it last for too. I am more deaf in my left ear so I know its doing some damage. I just dont know what to do about it crazylabyrinth 03-02-2005, 05:27 PM Headaches and tinnitus could be mav - migraine associated dizziness - have a look on net. xxx ASLme 03-02-2005, 10:07 PM I agree with CL... especially the part about "dog ears". The technical name for this is hyperacusis and it is one of the symptoms listed for MAV. I get this often...sometimes it feels like sound is going right through me and irritating every nerve, hard to describe but the closest thing is "nails on the chalkboard" feeling. With MAV you can get symptoms identical to inner ear problems since the migraine actually affects the nerves, blood vessels near the ear. Often it is hard to diagnose because the symptoms are so similar and can overlap too. Best to you, Elisabeth babygirl4276032 03-03-2005, 11:05 AM So you think this is nothing associated with my hearing loss. I ve hah hearing test done and they came back showing I had some hearing loss in my right ear and significant hearing loss in my left ear. BennyGibb 03-03-2005, 01:25 PM While migraine is a possibility, you don't mention if you suffer any dizziness or vertigo. It may be related to your hearing loss, has it got progressively worse? babygirl4276032 03-07-2005, 11:24 AM I get dizzy sometimes when I get up like just standing up I will feel very dizzy and lightheaded. I dont know what vertigo is though. |
