Aunt Katie is not doing well. She suffered a stroke last Wed. while I was with her. She cannot speak or move her right side of her body. She began to have the congestion in her throat this morning. She is refusing all food or fluid except if it has medication in it. Today she motioned to me to change her diaper and when I summoned for some help she clearly said "go". She has begun to push me away, and is very disoriented. She is continually trying to take off her diaper, gown and oxygen tube. She has lost all control of her bodily functions and it's really hard to cope with it all. Just hired a caretaker 2 days ago and it helps. I'm feeling that the end is very near. I appreciate your prayers as the next week is going to be rough. Thank You, Krissy

Dear Krissy, my thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time, may God bless you and your aunt. Give her a bit hug from me. God bless, Ann.

Dear Krissy: I'm so sorry. I hope she passes quickly and without pain. She will be in a better place.

Krissy I went through that with a dear friend who was continually taking off the gown and diaper, because I was one in charge of his care, I asked everyone to leave him naked and just make a tent with a blanket over him for his privacy. He was no longer cohearnt and laying naked calm him.
Hope this helps.
