I know when putting cream on your feet you are not supposed to put it in between the toes. My question is how do you keep that area from drying and cracking? Also I notice my small toes are folding under the other one. Does this have anything to do with diabetes?

I placed a thread that dealt with increasing my Prandin and many of you that responded stated that using Prandin would burn out my pancreas production of insulin much faster. My doctor and the pharmacist both disagreed with your opinion. Both did not know that I had spoken about the subject so there was no bias where one knew what the other's opinion was. Now I am up in the air. My doctor did mention a new medication that would help the Prandin work better in the blood stream. Thanks for any advice on any or both questions.- sam

Hi,
Sorry, just wanted to suggest going to a podiatrist. As you know being diabtetic we are at high risk with foot problems. Also, they can help with what is causing your toe problems hopefully with just ortho footwear.
I know I check my feet every morning before sock and use Cetaphil cream on my feet and legs. I use to use Diabetiderm but found this seems to work better and is cheaper.
I recently noticed a lump on bottom of foot on ball part. Only pain was when pressure applied. Regular doc sent me to a podiatist. Lump was a pus pocket under skin and after debreidment have a hole in ball of foot. Had MRI couple days ago and vascalur study to be done next Tues to decide on treatment based on circulation findings.
Good Luck,
Mike
