annchane 05-16-2003, 07:37 PM Hello Dana, how are you and how is Wlater? Please let us know how he is doing. Is he still in the hospital? If so, please let him know that I am thinking of him, take care and God bless, Ann. Cancerwife 05-19-2003, 09:39 AM Hello, Thank you Ann for your well wishes. Walter is doing better, he's breathing easier and his fever is way down. The doctors want to resume the chemo therapy next week so that they can continue to try and fight the cancer. They are predicting that he'll be home in time for his birthday which is nice. I'll keep you informed. Dana annchane 05-19-2003, 06:51 PM Dear Dana, that is wonderful news. I'm so pleased for you both, and it's good to hear that Walter will be able to spend his birthday at home. My thoughts and prayers are with you both, and please keep us updated. God bless, Ann. mrsdlash 05-22-2003, 03:51 AM Dear Dana, It is wonderful to hear your good news! I too want to know how your Walter is doing. Please do keep us informed, Dana. I have not been on here much do to losing my husband May 6th. But, it will make me feel better if I can help somebody else. I am praying that I do. You asked about why does he always say he is fine...when you know that he isn't, most likely. Well, my dear , some men are just like that down to the core. My man did the same. It was so natural for him to say, "Doin' pretty good today." He was unable to get up , use the bathroom, eat and still when the nurse would wake him by saying, "Don, how are you today!" That ...recording...would always say something that was to make her NOT to worry about him! IT's a reflex , Sweetie, so to speak. And it comes right from that Big Heart of theirs! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif That is just a part of why we love them so much. You and yours have my prayers of sweet blessings as needed. hugs Donna TheColonel 05-23-2003, 01:48 PM Well, I decided to answer this question myself. I'm doing ten times better now that I'm home with my wife and family. Thanks for your concern. Walter annchane 05-24-2003, 11:19 AM Hello Walter, it's great to hear from you and to know that you are doing well. I hope you have a wonderful birthday now that you are back home with your family.
