I've booked consultations with 3 neuromuscular dentists in the Boston area: Polan in Beverly, Houghton in Nashua and Bergman in Braintree. I'd like to know if anyone has personal experience with these dentists.
Also, has anyone had personal experience with Harvard, Tufts, BU or other dentists, and if so, did you prefer a certain dental school?
What troubles me about NMS dentistry is its newness. While 2 out of 3 of these dentists have completed ALL of the LVI courses (occlusion I-!V, full-mouth, etc.), it seems like none of them have been practicing this style for that long. None have encountered a patient like me (3 failed full-mouth reconstructions with severe tmj AND severe bruxism).
