I keep reading about how late stage HIV disease typically produces a skin rash....

First of all, how many years would you say is "late stage HIV Disease?"

Second...What does this rash tend to look like? Where does it commonly appear? Does it itch? Does this rash come with other symptoms like a fever?

Hiv symtoms vary from person to person when hiv stages are more advanced you develop problems not symtoms . If you feel you had a dangerous encounter get tested and please don't look for symtoms on the internet it will make you feel aven worse and set you're mind in motion . The best thing to do is get an (ELISA)
test at least 3 months after possible exposure.
Best of luck and I hope I helped.
