Has anyone tried Biofeedback with muscle monitors to treat TMJ? Does it work? I tried a splint many yeqrs ago without much success. Perhaps I didn't try it long enough (few months at night only). From reading here it sounds like that is still the treatment recommended most often. Are there any other treatments? Has anyone experienced vertigo from tmj? I have had 3 spells each about 2 minutes, 2 on consecutive days in Aug 2003 and one in June 2004.

The splint will only help if it's made right I have one and I wear it 24/7 and it helps me alot. You also need adjusts even now and then.

I tried biofeedback. It didn't work. However, the oral sensor biofeedback mouthguard does partially work for me. I attribute this to the fact that it does the biofeedback at night, when I brux. I don't think relaxing your muscles in the daytime necessarily effects what you do when you're asleep and unconscious. {removed}
