View Full Version : sunken optic nerve

Hello everyone! I normally post in the pregnancy board, but since this is related to my eye, I wanted to see what you all have to say.
I am almost 32 weeks along, and just RECENTLY I have been having SEVERE headaches and blurred vision. I also see spots sometimes-like fireworks in a way. I went to the OB/ER and was checked for some other pregnancy issues, all of which were negative. (the were worried I had pre-eclampsia)
So, since I was having vision issues, they sent me to an opthamologist. The doc found that my right eye (which was giving me the problems) has a sunken/collapsing optic nerve. He DOES NOT feel it's pregnancy related. Has anyone dealt with this? Any advice?
