kikilacrot, i had much the same, i used a non wwater based skin cream, vasilene intensive care. if it does not help, there are various seroid creams and lamasil tableys as it may be a fungus. i've used ketocanazole, nizoral and clotrimazole, each with varying success! these are all perscription medications so get with your health care provider

I had terrible itchy feet for years. I starting taking a vitamin A and vitamin D supplement and it went away. Very strange but true. When I discontinue the itch returns. Be aware that taking too much Vit A&D can be dangerous. Do not over do it.

Itching may very well be something as simple as a fatty acid deficiency. Cod liver oil works wonders for me. Soft moist skin and nice shiny hair! Type 1 26 years. Omega 3 fats are often used to treat many skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis. Unfortunately a lot of people rely on medications and this doesn't actually treat the problem. You may want to research benefits of omega 3 fats online. It will probably take about 1-2 weeks to notice a difference. Good luck. :)
