recently diagnosed as type 2 , first aic was 10.5 now 5 months later next test a comforting 5.7. my concern is frequent monitor testing doesn't support that level. monitor did pass control solution test. which test should i be more confortable with?

The A1c is an average based on 2-3 months worth of your blood sugars(life-span of a red blood cell).So that is the number I would trust :).

What is it about your monitor that makes you think it is incorrect? What are your averages on your monitor? You may be having fluctuations that you are not seeing.
