I've been having pains on my right side off and on for a few months now,along with some nausea-finally had a CAT scan with contrast, and an ultrasound done on gallbladder and appendix. Haven't got results back yet, but the technician said my gallbladder didn't look good at all.

Having the surgery doesn't bother me at all, but I'm worried about after the surgery-has anyone here had much weight gain after having their gallbladder out?

I've read that many people gain quite a bit of weight afterwards-something about food not digesting the same way.....
